Merge Bucks
If BuckScan split the same deer into two groups, select both groups and merge them. This also saves a Same Buck training example.
and
Training review updates while the SD card is still scanning. You can correct buck groups above or review rejected photos below as soon as each group of images finishes processing.
Did the AI miss a buck?
Review photos BuckScan rejected. If one contains an antlered deer, click Mark as Buck. The photo will be saved as a positive detector-training example and moved into Your Bucks. You can add it to an existing buck or create a new buck group.
Help train BuckScan
Review uncertain matches. Your Same Buck / Different Buck choices are saved as labeled training pairs for improving individual-buck recognition.
This is an MVP. The current model is zero-shot AI, so nighttime IR photos, partial antlers, small/distant deer, and similar-looking bucks can be misclassified. A production version should be fine-tuned on labeled trail-camera photos.
